The Scent Compendium
Every fragrance we create begins with a place, a feeling, or a moment worth holding onto. This is our complete collection of scents — each one composed to bring something specific and true into your home.
Thirteen fragrances · Four collections · Hand-poured in Canterbury · Inspired by Kent
Fragrances drawn from the Kent landscape — its orchards, coastline, hop gardens, and long summer afternoons. Fresh, grounded, and rooted in place.
The coast as it smells before the crowds arrive — clean, herbal, and wide open. Sea salt lifts everything, sage brings a quiet earthiness, and the whole thing settles like a long exhale. Designed for rooms that need to breathe.
Voluptuous and unhurried. The rose here is deep rather than sweet — almost bruised — lifted by the smoky complexity of oud and grounded in amber warmth. A scent composed for candlelight, for long evenings, for rooms dressed for occasion.
The first sip of a well-made gin on a warm Kent afternoon. Bright with juniper and the sharp lift of lime, it softens into something botanical and unhurried — the kind of scent that belongs on a garden table in July.
Tart, unashamedly English, and quietly nostalgic. Bramley Apple captures the moment just before harvest — green and sharp at the top, settling into the warmth of an old orchard. A scent for autumn kitchens and Sunday mornings.
Soft and generous, with the rounded sweetness of a ripe English pear at its heart. Amber deepens the base into something warm and lasting — neither sharp nor cloying, simply beautiful. A scent that feels immediately familiar, like a room you've always loved.
A classic reframed. The familiar citrus brightness of lime and mandarin is sharpened by fresh basil into something more considered — vivid without being loud. It fills a kitchen or hallway the way good light does: immediately and without effort.
Bergamot alone is deceptively complex — somewhere between citrus and floral, with a faint, almost smoky edge. This is the scent of a quiet room in the morning: considered, unhurried, and wholly itself. It asks nothing of you.
Deeper, darker, more interior. These are scents for candlelight and quieter moments — composed for the hours after the day is done.
Deeply comforting without tipping into sweetness. Sandalwood provides the quiet backbone — smooth, creamy, and enduring — while vanilla wraps around it like something remembered rather than invented. An anchor scent for rooms meant for rest.
A contradiction that works entirely. Pomegranate's sharp, jewel-bright opening deepens into rose and lily before landing on something dark and woody. The result is complex without being difficult — arresting on first encounter and more interesting each time after.
Uncompromising and characterful. The warmth of aged spirit, the slow burn of oak, and the faintest suggestion of tobacco — this is not a scent that seeks approval. It fills a room and stays there, the olfactory equivalent of a good armchair.
Intoxicating and deliberately so. Coffee and pink pepper spark the opening, jasmine follows with something floral and almost heady, and the whole composition rests finally on a dark, sweet base that lingers long after the flame is out. Reserved for evenings that mean something.
Richer and more resinous than sandalwood alone, Bois de Santal moves through warm woods and smoky cedar before settling into something as soft as worn leather. The scent of a well-kept study, a lit fireplace, a room with a story.
Scents drawn from Canterbury's deep past — places of ceremony, stone, and centuries of story. Each fragrance in this collection is housed in a hand-finished ceramic or jesmonite vessel, made to be kept long after the scent is gone.
For over eight hundred years, the nave of Canterbury Cathedral has held this scent — resinous, ceremonial, and profoundly still. Frankincense opens with a clarity that fills a room before myrrh deepens it into something meditative and ancient. To burn this is to bring a little of that stillness home.
The first in a considered collection of essential-oil formulations, each chosen for what it brings beyond fragrance. Pure botanicals, nothing synthetic — scent as something that genuinely works on you.
There is a reason lavender has been used for centuries as a remedy for restless minds and unquiet evenings. This is pure lavender essential oil — nothing added, nothing altered — soft, herbal, and genuinely calming. Available as a room mist, a candle, and a reed diffuser, for every way you choose to unwind.
